You're Angry With The Wrong Person

I never said healing would be easy, the process is grueling actually. One of the most challenging facets of healing is accepting that the people who hurt you, have people who love them. You’ve spent enough time trying to convince everyone that they should feel the way you do. You’ve wasted enough energy trying to get people to be on your side. Why does it matter so much that they believe you? What is that truly going to change? Why does it matter so much that they still love the person that hurt you? That person didn’t do anything to them. Why are you so angry with the people who know exactly what your offender did to you, but choose to love them anyway ? Why does it matter? You’re angry with the wrong people and you’ve placed yourself on trial when you don’t have to be, by trying to prove you’re the victim. Just because the jury is hung, doesn’t mean your offender never hurt you. It means your going to have to let the Big Judge handle this one. It’s time to rest and let God handle your case. He is the highest court.
